| This technique, which produces a soft dreamy effect, combines opposites, i.e. incredible sharpness and blurriness, overexposure and underexposure. The effect was first developed by Michael Orton, using sandwiched layers of various exposures of slide film. The images below were produced digitally using various layers manipulated to simulate the same effect. These images make unbelivable prints on Epson Ultra Smooth Fine Art Paper.
